I hadn't done any lino cuts for decades, so when my son's school asked parents to donate pieces of work to raise money for the school, I thought I'd get out my old tools and have a go. The theme was modern life and I donated a print of a Gucci catwalk model. I enjoyed it so much that I just kept going. I had a small exhibition of my Gucci models and some of these are the prints that I have left over. I am now working on a set of portraits of women artists overshadowed by their artist partners (long list). I am a kitchen printer, I don't have a press so registration is wonky at times. My technique has improved over time and so the editions have got larger. No two prints are identical.
