My portrait of Gabriele Munter is part of a series that I'm developing about women artists (and often muses) who were somewhat overshadowed by there male partners. Gabriele was Wassily Kandinsky's partner. She was also a successful and fabulous German expressionist painter. I learnt about Kandinsky at college but, until I did this print, I hadn't heard of Gabriele.
This three colour print is printed on 130g imitation Japanise vellum using linseed based inks. It measures 240 x 320mm
Some prints have a watermark in them (see alternative photo). Some people like this and some don't. Email me if you would rather not have a watermark.
