These doll head plates are inspired by the carved wooden dolls heads on display at Pollock's Toy Museum. They were made in Ortisei in the Dolomite mountains in Italy, by the same community who made the Dutch peg dolls in the Pollock's collection. These heads would have been sewn onto stuffed cloth bodies and were sometimes known as wooden betties.

  • These plates are made from glazed, white earthenware and are not food safe. They are for decoration only.

They measure approximately 25cm in diameter.
