I have become obsessed with birthday candles recently, may be because a lot of my family have birthdays at the same time. Inspired by the fèves that the French (umongst others) put in their galette des rois at Epiphany, I made these holders to elevate the humble birthday candle. They make a great birthday present on top of a freshly baked cake.
